# Troubleshooting

> What to try when a page, sync or the app itself misbehaves, and how to report a problem.

## A page does not work

1. Reload with `⌘R`, or force reload with `⇧⌘R`.
2. Open Arc blocks ads and trackers by default, which can break a few sites. Try turning off **Settings ▸ Advanced ▸ Block ads and trackers**, then reload.
3. Try the page in an incognito window (`⇧⌘N`). If it works there, an extension or the site's stored data may be the cause: turn extensions off one by one (`⌘E`), or run **Clear Cookies and Refresh** from the command bar, or clear the site's cookies and cache from the site controls in the address box.

Some pages cannot work in Open Arc: DRM-protected video (Netflix, Disney+ and similar) needs Widevine, which Open Arc does not include.

## Tabs disappeared from Today

Today tabs are archived after they have been idle. They are in **Archive ▸ View Archive…**, and `⇧⌘T` brings back the most recent one. To keep them longer, change **Settings ▸ Profiles ▸ Archive tabs after**. See [Today and the archive](/help/archive).

## My sidebar looks wrong after a change

**Help ▸ Restore Data** lists daily backups of your sidebar from the last seven days. Choose one to restore.

## Sync does not bring changes over

See [Syncing between Macs](/help/sync#if-something-does-not-sync).

## Open Arc crashed

Crash reports are saved on your Mac and never uploaded. **Settings ▸ Advanced ▸ Show Crash Reports in Finder** shows them. Attach the newest one to an issue if you would like us to look into it.

## Report a problem

1. Choose **Help ▸ Troubleshooting ▸ Copy Open Arc Info** to copy your app version and system details.
2. [Open an issue on GitHub](https://github.com/St0neWan9/open-arc-browser/issues/new/choose), paste the info and describe what happened and what you expected.

**Help ▸ Troubleshooting ▸ Reveal Open Arc Data** shows the app's data folder in Finder. Do not change files there while Open Arc is running.
